TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Indonesian branch of consumer research firm Nielsen reported a growing trend in online shopping the in the country in the last several months.

Executive Director of Consumer Reserach Catherine Eddy said today (14/7) almost 70 percent of indonesia's 30 million Internet users have planned to make online purchase between March and September from the previous 68 percent found during earlier reserach period.

About 52 percent of the shoppers are buying books, 44 percent orders clothes and footwear, 35 percent plane tickets, and 32 percent a buying electronic equipments.

Amazon.com and Air Asia according to the survey are the most frequent sites transacting with indonesian shoppers.
