Eka Sandi noted that for departures, the first flight from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was on the domestic route by Citilink airline with flight number QG691, carrying passengers from Denpasar to Surabaya, departing at 08:10 WITA.

Next, the first international departure was by Hong Kong Airlines with flight number HX 706 on the Denpasar-Hong Kong route at 09:00 WITA.

He said that I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has returned to normal operations, while also conveying that during Nyepi Day, the atmosphere proceeded conducively without any flight activities.

Amid the ongoing 2026 Eid Transport Post from 13-30 March 2026, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was temporarily closed on 19 March 2026 from 06:00 until 20 March 2026 at 06:00 WITA.

The operator recorded that during this period, they did not operate 440 regular commercial flight schedules.
