NGAWI - PT JMY Development Indonesia, a doll manufacturing company that has partnered with several global brands, has obtained bonded zone facility approval from the East Java II Customs Office on Monday, 25 May 2026. The approval is expected to boost investment and drive national exports amid global economic challenges.

The company, based in Ngawi, East Java, has successfully entered export markets in Japan, Europe, and the United States. Initial investment of Rp 40 billion has created 594 jobs, primarily for local residents. PT JMY Development Indonesia projects further job growth as production capacity and business expansion increase.

Head of East Java II Customs Office, Muhamad Lukman, stated that before obtaining approval, the company had to submit an application followed by a business process presentation. The presentation, held at the East Java II Customs Office, is a mandatory step for the company to outline its business operations and economic impact as part of the bonded zone facility approval process.

“We have previously conducted monitoring and evaluation of the company. We hope the company will maximise the use of this approval to support its industrial activities, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations,” Lukman said.

Through the issuance of the bonded zone facility approval, the East Java II Customs Office reaffirmed its role as a trade facilitator and industrial supporter to sustain national economic growth momentum.
