National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit Issues Wanted Notice for Drug Kingpin 'Koh Erwin' in AKBP Didik Case
The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) has officially issued a wanted notice for drug kingpin ‘Koh Erwin’ in connection with the case involving former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro.
The Director of Narcotics Criminal Investigation at the National Police’s Bareskrim, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that the wanted notice was issued on Saturday, February 21st.
“It is true that the Directorate of Narcotics Criminal Investigation at the National Police’s Bareskrim has taken over the pursuit of Erwin,” he said in a written statement on Thursday, February 26th.
With the issuance of the wanted notice, Eko hopes that all parties will monitor, apprehend, or surrender Erwin, or provide information about his whereabouts to investigators.
The wanted notice also includes several identifying features of Koh Erwin, including a height of 167 cm, a weight of 85 kilograms, short, straight black hair, and a light brown complexion.
Erwin is also said to have several residences in the South Sulawesi and West Nusa Tenggara regions. His full name is Erwin Iskandar.
Previously, the National Police’s Bareskrim had named former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra as a suspect in a drug abuse case.
Didik was found guilty of possessing a white suitcase containing narcotics, which he entrusted to Aipda Dianita in Tangerang, Banten.
The seized narcotics included 16.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 49 ecstasy pills, and 23.5 grams of residue, 19 Aprazolam pills, 2 Happy Five pills, and 5 grams of ketamine.
Didik also tested positive for drug use in a hair follicle drug test conducted in a laboratory.
In addition to this case, Didik was also named a suspect in a case involving the receipt of funds from drug trafficking by the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police on Monday, February 16th.
Didik is alleged to have received Rp2.8 billion in drug money from Koh Erwin through his subordinate, AKP Malaungi, who served as the Head of the Narcotics Unit at the Bima City Police. Didik received the money between June and November 2025.
Didik has been dismissed from the police force and is currently being held in the Bareskrim’s detention center.
