National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo participated in a blood donation drive alongside workers as part of the 53rd anniversary celebrations of the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers’ Unions (KSPSI). General Sigit underwent the full health screening process.

The blood donation drive was held in conjunction with KSPSI’s 53rd anniversary at PT Victory Chingluh Indonesia in Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, on Monday (16/2/2026). Before donating blood, General Sigit toured the venue and greeted workers participating in the free health screening programme.

After greeting the workers undergoing free health checks, the Police Chief registered himself as a donor. He sat alongside workers to first have his blood pressure checked.

Following the blood pressure screening together with workers, the Police Chief then had his blood type tested. After completing both stages, he proceeded to have his blood drawn in a designated room.

Upon finishing, General Sigit continued to greet fellow workers who had also donated blood, shaking hands with participants at the event.

During the event, the Police Chief symbolically presented various forms of assistance, including donations for orphans, basic food aid packages, and home renovation grants for workers living in substandard housing. Five worker representatives received the home renovation assistance.

A total of 53 orphans from workers’ families also received donations comprising school bags, stationery, and cash grants from the Police Chief. Additionally, he distributed 1,500 basic food packages and 10 containers of aid containing rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other essential commodities.

Beyond social assistance, the event also featured the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on subsidised housing ownership. The agreement was reached between Daru Estate and the KSPSI Tangerang Regency branch to support workers’ housing welfare.

The event involved medical personnel from the Banten Regional Police Health Division, the National Police Medical Centre, and the Tangerang Regency chapter of the Indonesian Red Cross, comprising surgical specialists, internal medicine doctors, and dentists.
