The Tanjung Priok Port Customs Office is overseeing the flow of logistics during the 1447 H Idul Fitri holiday and the 2026 Nyepi holiday. Customs will continue to monitor containers and logistics shipments during the national holiday period. “We are ensuring that all strategic services remain available to support the smooth flow of national logistics and provide service certainty to users,” said the Head of the Tanjung Priok Customs Office, Adhang Nugroho Adhi, in his statement on Friday (20/3/2026). He stated that optimisation is being carried out in line with the increasing flow of goods ahead of the national holiday period. According to Adhang, this is done to maintain the smooth logistics process. During that period, the Integrated One-Stop Service (PTSP) counter will continue to operate 24 hours a day. To support the smooth process of goods clearance, container scanning inspections will continue during the holiday period, with non-stop inspections and analysis. In addition, document inspections and physical inspections will also be carried out at all times in accordance with applicable provisions. Furthermore, supervision activities will continue to be carried out continuously to ensure compliance and anticipate potential violations in the customs and excise sector. The Tanjung Priok Customs Office urges all service users to pay attention to the operating hours of Temporary Storage Places (TPS) and Customs Storage Places (TPP) to avoid obstacles in the logistics process. Adhang detailed that throughout 2025, the average handling of customs documents, both imports and exports, reached more than 130,000 documents per month. This reflects the strategic role of the Tanjung Priok Customs Office as one of the main gateways for the national logistics flow. The Tanjung Priok Customs Office, continued Adhang, is committed to maintaining optimal service performance and supporting smooth national logistics. The office rejects all forms of corruption and gratuities in carrying out duties and services. “All employees are prohibited from receiving any form of gratuity related to their positions and contrary to applicable provisions. Service users are expected to support by not giving any form of reward, and to report any indications of violations through the available official complaint channels,” he said. “With services continuing during the holiday period, the Tanjung Priok Customs Office hopes to continue providing certainty, ease, and the best service for all users,” he added.
