The National Corruption Prevention Team (Timnas PK) held a meeting to discuss Indonesia’s declining Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) score. The team is set to meet with Transparency International Indonesia (TII) to address the drop in the country’s score.

Timnas PK was established to implement the National Corruption Prevention Strategy (Stranas PK). The team comprises several ministries and agencies, including the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB), the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Presidential Chief of Staff’s Office (KSP), and the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).

“In principle, we will conduct risk mitigation and hold discussions with Transparency International so that going forward we can improve Indonesia’s Corruption Perceptions Index score,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Agus Joko Pramono at the KemenPAN-RB building in Jakarta on Tuesday (24/2/2026).

Agus stated that the declining CPI score has become a particular concern for Timnas PK. The forthcoming meeting will be held with the expectation of improving Indonesia’s CPI score.

“So that in the eyes of the world, we occupy a better position in the context of the Corruption Perceptions Index. I believe that is all we can report,” he said.

For reference, Indonesia’s Corruption Perceptions Index score in 2025 stood at 34, representing a three-point decline compared to 2024.

“Indonesia’s CPI score this year is at 34. Meanwhile, its ranking compared to 180 other countries is at 109th,” said Transparency International Indonesia Programme Manager Ferdian Yazid to reporters on Tuesday (10/2).
