NasDem Urges Cross-Party Political Communication for Jakarta Residents
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Wibi Andrino, head of the NasDem DKI Jakarta DPW, urged strengthened cross-party political communication for the interests and welfare of Jakarta’s residents. Through this Ramadan moment, let us resume discussions and consolidate various policies and efforts to deliver the welfare of Jakarta’s people in the shortest possible time, Wibi said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday. Wibi said that cross-party political communication needs to be conducted, particularly for the welfare and interests of Jakarta residents. He said this during a breaking-fast event held on Friday (6 March) which was also attended by NasDem General Chair Surya Paloh, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, leaders of the Jakarta DPRD, and several political party leaders in Jakarta. He added that the breaking-fast gathering is not only a moment of worship during Ramadan but also a space to strengthen silaturahmi and build strategic communication among Jakarta’s stakeholders. He explained that the event carried the theme ‘Ramadan: United, Striving, Winning’. The theme was chosen to underscore the spirit of togetherness and to reinforce unity amid the Ramadan momentum. According to Wibi, Ramadan is not only a spiritual moment but also a space for learning to strengthen the values of togetherness, solidarity, and social concern within society. ‘As one of the parties involved in Jakarta’s social-political dynamics, we hope this breaking-fast momentum can serve as both a space for silaturahmi and strategic communication, with the aim of making the welfare of Jakarta’s residents the primary objective,’ he said. He expressed hope that the moment of togetherness could be used to re-discuss and consolidate various policies aimed at delivering welfare to Jakarta’s residents. Wibi emphasised that the NasDem DKI Jakarta DPW, together with the NasDem faction in the Jakarta DPRD, is ready to collaborate with various parties to ensure that the policies produced truly serve the people.
