N. Territory govt to build roads
KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: Australia's Northern Territory government is considering building roads in Mbay subdistrict, Ngada, Flores, Antara reported yesterday.
Australia had sent a consultant, Ken Sawers, to survey the area, said Ferdy Tanoni, the chairman of the Communication Forum of East Nusa Tenggara, East Timor and Northern Territory Entrepreneurs.
The Northern Territory government also intends to invest in the province's tourist industry, particularly in Ngada.
Seven islands in Rinca, Ngada, have the potential to attract divers.
Mbay is being developed to replace Bajawa as Ngada's capital. (swe)
