Museums in Jakarta and elsewhere in Indonesia are in a similar state; there are few visitors, even on Sundays and holidays. The situation is not proportionate to the number of inhabitants and visitors from abroad.

I do not know whether or not the little appeal museums seem to generate is caused by the unattractive arrangement of the historical objects displayed.

It is necessary to think of efforts to make museums and centers of history into attractive tourist sites. The museums will be educational for both young and old. They will also be satisfying to visitors as they can obtain knowledge on the meaning of the history of our nation and country.
