MUBA — Muba Police Chief Senior Commissioner God Parlasro Sinaga personally inaugurated a Community-Police Partnership Post (BKPM), built through community self-help efforts in Rimba Ukur Village, Sekayu District, Muba Regency, on Wednesday (9 July). The inauguration was marked by the signing of an inscription plaque by the Muba Police Chief. The event was attended by Muba Deputy Police Chief Commissioner Iwan Wahyudi, senior officers, community leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders, and the Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI).

Rimba Ukur Village Head Piu expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Police Chief and the Muba Police for attending the inauguration in person. “I am very grateful and, on behalf of the people of Rimba Ukur Village, I directly request that First Inspector Perlindungan Pane be appointed as Head of the Rimba Ukur BKPM,” Piu said.

He added that with the establishment of the post, Rimba Ukur Village is expected to become safer. “The police are now present directly among the community,” Piu explained.

Meanwhile, Muba Police Chief Senior Commissioner God Parlasro Sinaga stated that the existence of the BKPM post is an honour for the Muba Police, as it was built through the spirit of community mutual cooperation.

“Thank God. I am truly impressed by the people of Rimba Ukur Village who built this BKPM post through their own efforts. Moreover, its location is highly strategic at a crossroads connecting three sub-districts: Sungai Keruh, Plakat Tinggi, and Sekayu,” he said.

He emphasised that the police cannot work alone without community support, and that this collaboration demonstrates that security and order are a shared responsibility. “If we rely solely on the police, it will certainly not be enough. This post will have a positive impact on maintaining security and order across this rather extensive area,” he concluded.
