Mrs. Sigit to acquire Asiamatrix
SINGAPORE (Reuter): Electronics company Asiamatrix said it had been informed that two of its major shareholders had agreed to sell an aggregate of 55.84 percent of the company's shares at S$1.10 each to a consortium led by Mrs.Ranawati Sigit Hardjojudanto of Indonesia.
Asiamatrix said in a statement over the weekend that Crandeur Holdings Pte Ltd, owned by Asiamatrix managing director George Thia, and Hong Kong-based Henshwin Ltd had agreed to sell 8.98 million and 4.40 million ordinary Asiamatrix shares respectively.
The shares were bought by a consortium led by Indonesian businesswoman Ranawati Sigit Hardjojudanto.
The sale, agreed on Saturday, will be carried out as soon as possible via a married deal through stockbrokers.
Hardjojudanto's company Vasidon would make a general offer for all remaining shares and warrants in Asiamatrix, the firm said.
