Mother of Baby Nearly Swapped at Bandung's RSHS Hospital Issues Legal Notice to Hospital
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG – Nina Saleha (27 years old), the mother of the baby nearly swapped at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) in Bandung, has issued a legal notice to the management through her lawyer. They are awaiting a response from the management regarding the notice that has been served.
Krisna Murti, Nina Saleha’s lawyer, claims to have sent a legal notice letter to the hospital management while also requesting an answer regarding the case of the baby nearly being swapped at the hospital. If there is no response, he says he will take the matter to the legal realm.
“We requested that our letter be responded to immediately, so that there can be a meeting point between the hospital side and our side. But if our letter is not responded to and there is no meeting point to uncover this incident, we will proceed to the (criminal) realm,” he said at RSHS Bandung on Monday (13/4/2026).
He claims to have also sent a letter to the Health Department and the Ministry of Health. His side will wait for a response from the hospital for 3x24 hours.
Krisna Murti said his side has not yet been able to meet the hospital management because they were not at the office. His side assures that his client has never agreed to a peaceful settlement with the hospital.
However, the hospital side claims to have already reached a peaceful agreement. His side says that the hospital’s request for peace does not automatically eliminate the criminal elements.
“Our client first refutes this; we conveyed earlier that the apology is a form of cooperation done by the hospital, meaning acknowledging regret for that, we agree, we consent, but it does not eliminate the criminal elements if this is criminal,” he said.
He added that his side also requests the formation of an independent team to conduct a DNA test on his client’s baby to ensure that the baby is his client’s child. His side also says that his client received intimidation from security officers.
In addition, Krisna Murti requests that the nurse who has worked for 20 years be dismissed, not just given a first warning letter.
