Modest Luxe Sarinah launches to strengthen Indonesia's modest fashion ecosystem
Jakarta (ANTARA) – CEO of Scarf Media Indonesia, Temi Sumarlin, stated that the Modest Luxe Ramadan Raya 2026 pop-up store in Sarinah, Jakarta, is an effort to strengthen the ecosystem of modest fashion in Indonesia.
“We see the potential of modest fashion and Muslim fashion in Indonesia as quite significant. However, we aim to curate the best modest and Muslim fashion brands in Indonesia, ensuring they offer the highest quality,” said Temi during a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.
Temi added that modest fashion from various local brands has gained global attention. Several countries have recognised the quality and appeal of Indonesian local products, including those in Southeast Asia, Saudi Arabia, and Europe.
Based on this, Modest Luxe is positioned as a hub for premium-quality modest and Muslim fashion brands, while also serving as a showcase for the industry that meets international market expectations.
More than 25 modest and Muslim fashion brands will participate, including products such as bags, prayer sets, reed diffusers, perfumes, shoes, and various accessories to complement the Muslimah’s look for Raya 2026.
Some of the well-known brands that will feature in Modest Luxe include Ria Miranda, KAMI, Jenna and Kaia, Taza, Heart Troops, by Ayu Dhyah Andari, MYMD, NASL, Nagita Slavina, Parte, Napocut, and others.
Modest Luxe is located on the 2nd floor of Sarinah Thamrin. It will run from 24 to 31 March 2026, with a series of interesting events, including community meet-ups, Mix and Match Raya Collection, and the Grand Finale of Muslimah 2026 presented by Modest Luxe.
Head of Marketing, Promotion and Events of Sarinah Group, Elsa Dewi, added that Sarinah aims to strengthen its role as a meeting place for culture, creativity, and commerce.
The presence of Modest Luxe, curated by Scarf Media, is considered part of Sarinah’s commitment to presenting a relevant, inclusive, and globally competitive local fashion ecosystem.
“Sarinah is committed to being a collaborative space for local brands that have strong quality and a distinct identity. That’s why Sarinah warmly welcomes the presence of Modest Luxe,” she said.
Furthermore, this collaboration aligns with Sarinah’s vision to become a leading Indonesian cultural centre that celebrates the diversity of heritage through commerce and creativity.
