MNC Energy Changes Name and Reshuffles Management
Jakarta — PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk. (IATA) has agreed to change its name and reshuffle its management board. The decision was approved during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) on 22 June 2026.
The RUPST approved the resignation of Santi Paramita from her position as Commissioner, Henry Suparman from his position as Deputy President Director, and Anthony Putra Tjiptodihardjo from his position as Director. The company also honourably dismissed Andrea Frans Tambunan from his position as Director in connection with another assignment within the IATA group.
The MNC Group entity then approved and appointed Christian as the new Director of IATA.
During the RUPST, IATA shareholders also approved amendments to several articles of the company’s articles of association, including changing the company’s name from PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk. to PT Karya Pacific Energy Tbk. (or another name subject to approval from the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia).
Management stated that the name change was carried out to strengthen the company’s identity, enhance alignment with the company’s vision and strategy, and support the company’s position before stakeholders.
Additionally, the change of the company’s controller was approved, from previously PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk. (BHIT) to PT Karya Pacific Investama (KPI), as a result of the completion of the IATA share acquisition transaction by KPI conducted through a voluntary tender offer mechanism, in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations in the Indonesian capital market.
Following the conclusion of the RUPST, the latest composition of IATA’s Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors is as follows:
