Ministry of Manpower strengthens integration of employment services through walk-in interviews
Jakarta — The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) is strengthening the integration of employment services through walk-in interview facilities, which are also integrated into the SIAPkerja platform to support a faster and more transparent process.
Secretary General of Kemnaker Cris Kuntadi, in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday, said that this form of direct interviews represents the state’s presence, facilitating meetings between job seekers (pencaker) and employers quickly and efficiently.
‘This walk-in interview method is more effective in absorbing the workforce than online administrative screening, which takes longer,’ Cris said.
Kemnaker also facilitated walk-in interviews at the Gedung Pusat Pasar Kerja, Jakarta, on Wednesday (4/3).
Cris explained that the walk-in interview workflow makes the recruitment process more concise because companies can assess candidates not only from their CVs but can also interact directly with job seekers.
From the job seekers’ perspective, the process provides clarity on the stages from the outset and reduces waiting times that often feel long.
‘We want to ensure that every Indonesian talent gains fast and transparent access to employment,’ he said.
