Ministry of Manpower Reminds of the Importance of the Final Stage of National Internship Batch I
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has reminded participants, company operators, and mentors of the National Internship Programme (MagangHub Kemnaker) Batch I to complete all final stages of the programme according to the schedule, as many important matters also need to be finalised.
The Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development (Binalavotas) of Kemnaker, Darmawansyah, stated that completing the final stage is crucial because it directly relates to administrative processes, assessments, certificate issuance, and the disbursement of participants’ pocket money.
“Moreover, this closing phase also serves as a marker that the internship experience must truly be transformed into real provisions for entering the world of work,” said Darmawansyah in his statement in Jakarta on Sunday.
The programme will end on 19 April 2026 for Phase 1A and 23 April 2026 for Phase 1B, after running for six months in the industrial sector.
Darmawansyah said that the six-month experience in industry is an important asset for participants to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
“This six-month experience becomes an important asset for participants to increase their competitiveness in the job market. Participants are now more work-ready,” he stated.
He appreciated the participants, partner companies, mentors, and programme managers who have supported the implementation of the programme over the past six months.
According to him, the internship programme not only provides direct work experience in an industrial environment but also strengthens participants’ hard skills and soft skills, including communication skills, teamwork, and adaptation in the work environment.
Therefore, participants are reminded not to overlook the important value of that experience.
The internship experience needs to be well documented in CVs or portfolios, so that it truly becomes an added value when participants apply for jobs.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Manpower Research and Development Agency (Barenbang) of Kemnaker, Anwar Sanusi, explained that participants in Phase I are required to complete the final attendance, prepare monthly reports, and fill out questionnaires as requirements for pocket money disbursement.
He emphasised that the completeness of these final stages determines the orderly process of programme closure on 24 April 2026.
In addition to participants, company operators also have important responsibilities during the period of 19–22 April 2026. Operators must prepare internship certificates in the maganghub.kemnaker.go.id menu, including inputting the company logo, participant names, and electronic signatures from the directors. Operators must also fill out competency certification reports, placement or recruitment reports if any, and mandatory questionnaires.
During the same period, mentors must approve participants’ attendance and daily reports, approve monthly reports, provide monthly and final grades for participants, complete mentor questionnaires, and submit participants’ pocket money requests after all questionnaires have been submitted.
As a follow-up, the government is also preparing online training and competency certification for internship participants.
This training serves as preparation before participants take the competency test, so they are better prepared and have a greater chance of obtaining competency certificates.
