Bekasi, Kompas.com — The Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia has opened a complaint post for Idul Fitri Allowances (THR) ahead of the 2026 Lebaran.

This step is taken to anticipate any cheating or obstacles in the distribution of THR to workers.

Manpower Minister Yassierli stated that the complaint post is located within the Ministry of Manpower.

“So every complaint and report received will be followed up and acted upon by the supervisors,” Yassierli told the media when met in Bekasi on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

However, after checks were carried out, it was found that payments were made in accordance with the provisions.

“But it turns out that when checked, it hasn’t reached the H-7 Lebaran deadline yet,” he said.

He added that until now, the number of complaints received is still ongoing, so there is no definite figure regarding the reports received.

In addition, the Ministry of Manpower is also conducting monitoring and evaluation (monev) on the potential for companies carrying out layoffs (PHK) ahead of Lebaran as a ploy to avoid THR payment obligations.

According to Yassierli, this supervision is carried out to ensure that workers’ rights are still fulfilled.

Yassierli emphasised that THR payment is a company obligation that has been regulated in regulations.

“We are optimistic that everything will be fine. Because this is a regulation, companies must pay THR in cash without instalments,” he said.

With the existence of this complaint post, it is hoped that workers can report if they experience obstacles in receiving THR, so that the government can immediately take handling steps.
