Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Creative Economy is facilitating the production process of music video clips for musicians from Central Java, namely Alrosta Group and Man Osman, through the Creative Acceleration (AKTIF) Music programme.

“Through AKTIF Music, we aim to be directly present to assist regional musicians, not only in the production process but also in building stories and the quality of works that can connect with the public,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya in an official statement confirmed in Jakarta on Thursday.

Through the event held in Surakarta, Central Java, from 9 to 11 March 2026, Riefky emphasised that the effort aims to encourage promotion, distribution, and increased capacity for local musicians in various regions of Indonesia.

The song lifts the theme of journey as a way the universe guides humans home, with filming taking place in the city of Surakarta and its surroundings. The release timing coincides with the atmosphere leading up to Eid al-Fitr, when Indonesian society is synonymous with the tradition of ‘going home’.

Meanwhile, Alrosta Group, known for the Javanese pop/koplo genre, is collaborating with Pragita and Belive in the production of the music video Sesulih, scheduled for release on 21 March 2026. This work presents a story of a failed love that heals over time, delivering an emotional narrative about wounds and new hopes.

Alrosta Group and Man Osman expressed appreciation for the facilitation provided. The support not only includes production assistance but also conceptual strengthening and institutional capacity building, thereby encouraging regional musicians to be more prepared to compete in the national music industry.

The AKTIF Music programme is part of the Ministry of Creative Economy’s ongoing efforts to create added economic value through the music subsector, including opening opportunities for distribution and commercialisation of creative works.

This programme is not merely about assistance but also about forming a sustainable regional music industry ecosystem by conducting measurable impact calculations through music video funding, contract facilitation (copyright and related rights), product promotion and commercialisation, as well as monitoring and evaluation by the Presidential Staff Office.
