Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has reminded stakeholders of the relaxation provided regarding the 2026 Fiscal Year Operational Assistance Funds for Educational Units (BOSP) for financing the honoraria of ASN government employees with work agreements (PPPK) who are part-time teachers and education personnel. Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Dirjen GTK) of Kemendikdasmen, Nunuk Suryani, stated that this relaxation was issued through Ministerial Circular No. 6 of 2026 on the Implementation of Relaxation for Financing Components of Non-Civil Servant Teachers and Education Personnel Honoraria in the 2026 Fiscal Year Operational Assistance Funds for Educational Units (BOSP). “Kemendikdasmen has adjusted the 2026 BOSP scheme as outlined in Ministerial Circular No. 6 of 2026. This regulation governs the relaxation in the use of BOSP funds for paying honoraria to part-time ASN GTK. Because part-time workers are neither honorary nor full-time ASN,” said Nunuk during the Ngopi Bareng Bu Nunuk broadcast in Jakarta on Wednesday. She explained that the relaxation allows the use of BOSP funds for financing part-time ASN PPPK teachers and education personnel for local governments that propose it, taking into account their fiscal limitations. Regarding the amount of honoraria payable under this relaxation policy, Director General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education, Non-Formal and Informal Education (Dirjen PAUD Dikdas PNFI) of Kemendikdasmen, Gogot Suharwoto, stated that it is a maximum of 20 percent of the total BOSP fund allocation received by the educational unit, with a minimum amount equivalent to the honoraria previously received by the teachers or education personnel. “Our basis is sufficiency at 20 percent, maximum 20 percent, and minimum is the honoraria previously received. So, if previously as an honorary teacher they received 500, at least they should receive that,” said Gogot. The ministry will conduct periodic evaluations to ensure the policy’s effectiveness, compliance with applicable provisions, and achievement of the main goal, which is to maintain the continuity of educational services.
