Mercure's inhouse training

JAKARTA (JP): Mercure Rekso Hotel Hayam Wuruk recently held a three-week training program to improve the skills of its 250 employees.

Mercure's public relation manager Mirna A. Basalamah said that the inhouse training program was part of the hotel's efforts to improve the quality of its services.

"We are very proud that our management has spent a lot of money for this training despite the current economic crisis while many hotels are cutting staff and offering economy packages as part of efforts to save money," Mirna said.

Mirna said hotels should strive to improve services at all times since it helped to attract customers. (gis)
