MasterCard debit cards

JAKARTA (JP): MasterCard International, Bank Lippo, Bank Bali, and Indonesian retailers, restaurants and tourism companies have joined to issue co-branded debit cards.

Besides carrying MasterCard's Maestro and Cirrus marks the debit cards also include names of merchants that accept the cards payment including Amcol, Hero Group, Amway, Ponderosa Group, Gramedia, Matahari, Pizza Hut, Garuda Indonesia, Marta Tilaar, Centra Nusa Indah, United Motor Company and Citraland.

MasterCard said in a statement that the card is the world's first co-branded debit card. (01)
