The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, has urged all employers to fulfil the obligation to provide the Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) and Religious Holiday Bonus (BHR) for 2026 on time and in accordance with the regulations. ‘THR and BHR are workers’ rights that must be fulfilled. We will not hesitate to sanction employers who ignore this obligation. The state is present to ensure every worker can celebrate the holiday calmly and joyfully with their families,’ Yassierli said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. In addition to enforcing this, the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) has established a THR and BHR Religious Holiday Help Desk for 2026, including at the ministry’s One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSA), Building B, Level 1, South Jakarta. The Help Desk offers two main services: consultations and complaints. The consultation service has been open since 2 March 2026, addressing questions about THR and BHR rights, from recipient eligibility and calculation methods to issues arising in special situations such as termination of employment (PHK). Yassierli noted that the most frequently asked questions at the desk relate to THR rights and calculation mechanisms, including PHK scenarios. In addition to consultations, the desk provides a complaints service that was activated seven days before Hari Raya, in line with government deadlines for THR payments. Each complaint received is immediately followed up by labour inspectors on duty at the desk daily. This mechanism ensures workers’ reports receive rapid responses and appropriate handling in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. To broaden access, the ministry also provides online consultation and complaints via poskothr.kemnaker.go.id and WhatsApp at 081280001112. The minister emphasised that this ease of access is designed so all workers can utilise the desk without needing to visit in person. ‘I also urge that THR and BHR posts be established at every provincial, city, and regency Labour Office, as well as in industrial estates,’ Yassierli said. ‘All posts must be integrated with the Ministry of Manpower THR Post. The public also does not need to visit in person, but can first use WhatsApp,’ he added.
