Malalak road reconnected, teachers no longer face 95-kilometre journey

After months of severance caused by flash floods, the alternative Padang-Bukittinggi road via Malalak has been reconnected. For teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Malalak, this access route cuts their commuting distance from 95 kilometres to approximately 30 kilometres. Although the road is still slippery and has not been fully opened, it represents a new source of hope for teaching and learning activities in the area.
