Luhut: All Ministry Data to Integrate by 1 June 2026
National Economic Council (DEN) Chairman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan stated that all ministry and agency data will be interconnected by 1 June 2026. The integration forms part of strengthening government technology based on artificial intelligence (AI).
Luhut said the government is expanding digitalisation through pilot projects in 42 regencies and Bali province. The system will be fully launched in October 2026 after data harmonisation and AI development proceed over the coming months.
‘From 1 June, everything will be connected and data integrated. It will take a few months for the AI and data harmonisation to be operational, and the President will roll it out in October this year,’ DEN Chairman said in Jakarta on Monday (25 May 2026).
He explained that data integration would enable more precise government decision-making. According to him, the system allows the government to better understand regional needs in detail.
Luhut views government digitalisation as a key instrument to bolster Indonesia’s credibility with global investors. He noted that transparency, efficiency, and bureaucratic reform are consistently raised by investors during his recent meetings with international business leaders in Singapore.
He added that the government is linking natural resource export monitoring systems via National Single Window and Simbara, previously used for coal exports. The system is now being expanded to other commodities such as tin and palm oil.
Luhut said AI would reduce data manipulation opportunities and minimise deviations in export and government procurement processes. The system can automatically process all data, linking tax reports, royalties, and export permits seamlessly.
‘And the AI will read everything. There’s no way to evade it. No way,’ said the DEN Chairman.
Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara explained that National Single Window now serves as a cross-ministry and agency data integration portal. Through the platform, all licensing, recommendation, and export documentation processes are consolidated into a single digital system for analysis.
According to Suahasil, the system supports more adaptive and disciplined public finance management amid global uncertainty. The government aims to maintain a fiscal deficit below 3% while funding priority programs such as MBG, village cooperatives, people’s schools, and healthcare improvements.
‘Indonesia’s deficit is below 3%, at 2.9% last year, 2.68 planned for this year, but growth was 5.11% last year and 5.61% at the start of this year,’ said the Deputy Finance Minister.
