LKBN ANTARA Semarang Bureau Distributes Two Sacrificial Animals in Batang
Batang (ANTARA) - The ANTARA News Agency’s Semarang Bureau has distributed two sacrificial goats to the residents of Dukuh Krandon village, Warungasem District, Batang Regency, Central Java. Teguh Imam Wibowo, Head of the ANTARA Central Java Bureau, stated on Wednesday in Batang that the sacrificial animal aid is a gesture of concern from ANTARA towards the community, particularly those eligible to receive it. ‘Alhamdulillah, the Central Java Bureau has been entrusted to distribute these sacrificial animals. Besides Batang, the Jateng Bureau also distributed one goat to the Central Java Grand Mosque in Semarang,’ he said. Perum LKBN ANTARA’s Director General, Benny Siga Butarbutar, expressed gratitude for being able to perform the qurban ritual and distribute its benefits to recipients. This year, he said, Perum LKBN ANTARA distributed eight goats as part of the company’s social responsibility to the community: In addition to Batang Regency, LKBN ANTARA distributed two goats to Bengkulu residents during the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebration via the ANTARA Bengkulu Bureau at Al Jannah Mosque in Rawa Makmur, Bengkulu City. This distribution is a trust from all ANTARA staff across Indonesia. It is not merely sharing qurban meat, but also sharing the spirit of togetherness, mutual assistance, and compassion that form the foundation of Indonesian society. To the residents of Bengkulu, Palu, Batang Regency, and the children of the Insan Cerdas Sejahtera Foundation, may this aid bring blessings, happiness, and ease the burden during Eid al-Adha. ‘I also ask for your prayers for LKBN ANTARA. Pray that ANTARA staff are always given strength to carry out their duties as an independent, accurate, and timely national news agency,’ he said. ‘We appreciate ANTARA News Agency for providing two sacrificial goats. This is the first time a news agency has shared happiness with the community,’ he said. According to him, during the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebrations, the local authorities received four cattle and 28 goats, including two from the National News Agency ANTARA, for distribution to approximately 800 recipients.
