LG opens outlets in Vietnam

SEOUL (UPI): The cosmetics subsidiary of South Korea's LG Group has opened stores in Vietnam, a spokesman said Friday.

LG Household and Healthcare Co. Ltd. has opened a cosmetics store and two counters in department stores in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, spokesman Kim Dong-sik said.

LG plans to boost sales of its DeBon line of cosmetics after the launch of a $10-million cosmetics plant, located near Ho Chi Minh, due to open next year, Kim said. Lg, South Korea's third largest conglomerate in terms of assets, currently exports cosmetics to the United States, China, Australia, Russia and Indonesia, the spokesman said.
