The NasDem Party’s Central Java Regional Leadership Council (DPW) Mudik Post serves travellers to keep them fit on their journey home during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period. “Providing services to the community through Mudik Posts and Return Flow is a tangible manifestation of a political party’s concern for humanity and social welfare,” said Lestari Moerdijat, Chair of the DPW NasDem Central Java, in a written statement on Monday (23/3). Lestari acknowledged that among the passing travellers, many still use two-wheeled vehicles. “They are prone to physical fatigue, especially during the return flow later when their energy is already depleted. We are here to help them ensure their journey remains safe and healthy,” said Rerie, Lestari’s familiar nickname. The DPW NasDem Central Java, Rerie stated, provides two Mudik and Return Flow Posts in Klaten and Wonogiri, Central Java. These DPW NasDem Central Java Mudik and Return Flow Posts were inaugurated by Saan Mustofa, Deputy General Chairman of the DPP NasDem Party, during the DPP NasDem Party’s Ramadan Safari on Wednesday (4/3). The two posts in Klaten and Wonogiri began operating from 16 March 2026 during the Lebaran mudik period until 24 March 2026 during the return flow. The services provided at these posts, Rerie explained, go beyond mere rest stops. According to Rerie, the posts managed by the NasDem Central Java Party’s Rescue Agency, cadres, volunteers, and health teams offer free massage facilities to relieve muscle fatigue, free mineral water, and health services such as blood pressure checks and first aid for accidents (P3K). For the free massage service, Rerie revealed, the DPW NasDem Central Java also involves visually impaired and hearing-impaired peers from the areas around the posts. “At these posts, we also provide brief education on driving safety. We do all this for free and non-discriminatorily. Anyone passing by who needs a rest is welcome to stop,” Rerie emphasised. Rerie, who is also a legislator from Central Java’s Electoral District II, hopes that the presence of the NasDem Party can be directly felt by the wider community. “This is a form of mutual cooperation to achieve collective safety. We hope that with these posts, the risk of accidents due to fatigue can be reduced,” she concluded.
