Legislator Himmatul Aliyah Greets Residents at Free Medical Treatment Event in Ragunan
Jakarta — Member of House of Representatives Commission X Himmatul Aliyah greeted residents at a free medical treatment event and Humanitarian Service programme organised by the Gerindra Party central board in the Ragunan area. The event was held to mark the party’s 18th anniversary, accompanied by various social activities.
Himmatul said the 18th anniversary represented a moment of maturity for the party to expand its services to the public, including through free medical treatment involving doctors and medical volunteers. During the event, she introduced the medical team comprising Dr Asri, Dr Hairul, and Dr April, under the coordination of Misrayanti as head of health services.
“Thank you to all members of the public, particularly residents around Ragunan, and especially the neighbourhood leaders in the Ragunan area. Thank you for your support for us, Gerindra Party, which continues to strive alongside the community to improve public welfare,” she said in a written statement on Sunday (15/2/2026).
She also expressed appreciation for the role of Gerindra Party’s Humanitarian Services head, Misrayanti SE, MH, who led health services reaching various regions across Indonesia.
Beyond health services, the event also featured cooperative socialisation through the Garudayakasa Nusantara Cooperative (KGN), driven by Jasmin Setiawan. Residents were encouraged to take advantage of various cooperative products, ranging from savings and loans, education savings, umrah savings, to festive season necessities packages.
“There are many benefits to joining a cooperative. There are various types — savings and loan cooperatives, Eid package cooperatives, buying and selling cooperatives, and so on. There are also education savings and umrah savings for those wishing to perform umrah,” she explained.
In the education sector, Himmatul announced the opening of a registration post for the Programme Indonesia Pintar (PIP) for Ragunan residents, covering both new registrations and benefit extensions. She noted that PIP assistance amounts had increased in line with the 13-year compulsory education policy.
Furthermore, Himmatul highlighted educational opportunities through the SMA Unggulan Garuda, which provides scholarships including overseas study for high-achieving students from underprivileged families.
She also drew attention to the impact of the Free Nutritious Meals Programme (MBG), which has created a chain effect benefiting farmers, egg producers, and milk and chilli producers, who now have markets absorbing their output.
“The MBG has quietly absorbed 1.2 million jobs. A single MBG kitchen requires a minimum of 20 people. There are now 60,000 communal kitchens across Indonesia, which will grow to 80,000. That alone has absorbed 1.2 million jobs,” she said.
In closing, she urged residents to take full advantage of all available programmes, from PIP and KIP Kuliah to cooperative and health services. The event continued with a ceremonial tumpeng rice cutting and the distribution of donations to orphans.
“Please make the most of this opportunity. Do not let it go to waste,” she concluded.
