Lebaran 2026 Toll Rate Discount Applies for Four Days — Here Are the Dates and Affected Toll Roads
The Ministry of Public Works (PU) has again announced a 30 per cent toll tariff discount on 29 tolled sections during Lebaran 2026. The discount will apply for four days: 15-16 March 2026 for the outbound exodus, and 26-27 March 2026 for the return period. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo said the discount is intended to prevent excessive congestion on the peak day; with a larger discount, they hope mudik travellers depart and return earlier than the projected peak. To enjoy the discount, ensure the balance of the electronic wallet is sufficient, as the discount will not apply if the balance is insufficient at tap-out at the toll gate of the destination. Which tolled sections receive the 30 per cent discount? ‘More four-wheeled vehicles using tolled roads will reduce the burden on the national roads,’ said Dody. Citing Antara on Sunday (1 March 2026), Dody monitored the readiness of the national road network in Central Java to support Lebaran 2026 mudik. Several repairs were carried out along the Pantura corridor, Kaligawe, and Trengguli by raising road embankments, replacing foundation layers, and hardening concrete, expected to function at maximum ten days before Lebaran 2026 (H-10). ‘We all understand that during mudik or return journeys, around 70 percent of the public who own four-wheeled vehicles prefer to use tol roads. Meanwhile, national roads will be more crowded with two-wheeled vehicles,’ concluded Dody.
