The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that it is preparing a corruption prevention study in response to procurement in the People’s School programme by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
“As a form of support for the People’s School programme, which is one of the national priority programmes, within the framework of corruption prevention, the KPK through the Monitoring Directorate is currently conducting a study,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Monday.
Budi explained that the study is being conducted by the KPK to identify potential corruption hotspots in the implementation of the programme.

Minister of Human Rights’ Statement on Freedom of Expression
Minister of Human Rights Natalius Pigai emphasised that freedom of expression within the human rights framework is not absolute but has limits or must adhere to legal corridors, both national and international.
“But human rights have limits, human rights have limits. Freedom of speech has limits. Therefore, not all opinions, thoughts, and feelings expressed are guaranteed by law,” said Pigai in Jakarta on Monday.
He referred to the principle of limiting human rights such as the Siracusa Principles and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) as the basis that public expressions must remain within legal boundaries.

Ahmad Dhani Consults Bareskrim on Missing Instagram Account
Musician and member of DPR RI Commission X Ahmad Dhani visited Bareskrim Polri to consult regarding his missing Instagram account.
“We asked how the Instagram process could be taken down, from where,” he said when met at the Awaloeddin Djamin Building of Bareskrim Polri on Monday.
From the consultation, he continued, it was learned that his account could not have been suspended due to mass reporting and it is suspected that an important person reported his account related to a certain post. However, he did not disclose the details of the post’s content.

KPK Summons Two Retired Bank Indonesia Officials in BI-OJK CSR Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two Bank Indonesia retirees as witnesses in the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the distribution of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds by BI and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
“The examination took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building for HNF and TS as Bank Indonesia retirees,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Monday.
Budi said one of the witnesses summoned had previously served as an Analyst for the Implementation of Bank Indonesia’s Social Programme (PSBI).

Pati Police Examine Suspect in Alleged Sexual Assault of Female Students Case
The Pati City Police Resort in Central Java continues to investigate the alleged sexual assault case against several female students at the Ndolo Kusumo Islamic Boarding School in Tlogowungu Subdistrict, Pati Regency, by examining the dormitory supervisor with initials AS who is now a suspect.
“The examination is part of the investigation stage after the suspect’s determination on 28 April 2026. Today, we examined the boarding school supervisor as a suspect,” said Head of Pati Police Resort Commissioner Police Jaka Wahyudi accompanied by Head of Public Relations of Central Java Police Commissioner Police Artanto during the security of a fishermen’s demonstration at the Pati Regency Office on Monday.
He explained that before determining the suspect, investigators had completed the case file by examining the reporter, several witnesses, and expert witnesses. The suspect AS had also been examined previously in the capacity of a witness.
