Laksamana not Admiral

In my article titled Soerjadi vs political scientists,
published by The Jakarta Post (Monday, June 9), there were a few
translation errors.

The most disturbing one was the name of Laksamana Sukardi
which was inadvertently translated into Admiral Sukardi.

The sentence "It appears Soerjadi did not learn from his 1973
experience when he resurrected the PDI from destruction as a
result of party fusions," should have read: "It appears Soerjadi
did not learn from his experience when he resurrected the PDI
from destruction as a result of 1973 party fusions."
