Jakarta – The government has announced a total holiday bonus (BHR) for ride-hailing drivers (ojol) reaching Rp 220 billion during Eid al-Fitr 2026. This bonus will be distributed to 850,000 drivers or ride-hailing partners.

Labour Minister Yassierli revealed that the government is appealing to app operators to pay the BHR as quickly as possible.

“The BHR is given at the latest seven days before, urged to be faster,” he said at a press conference on Tuesday (3 March 2026).

He also stated that religious holiday bonuses must be given in cash of at least 25 per cent of average net income over the past 12 months. Thus, the amount can vary.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the amount could reach between Rp 150,000 and Rp 500,000 depending on the driver’s status.

“The others follow accordingly, depending on how many active drivers there are, and active drivers on average can get Rp 150,000 for two-wheeled vehicles. Four-wheeled vehicles can reach Rp 200,000 to Rp 500,000,” said Airlangga.
