The Kuantan Singingi Police Resort (Polres Kuansing), through its Medical and Health Section (Dokkes), held the JALUR (Riau Exploration for the People) programme in the form of a Floating Clinic at the Teluk Kuantan Modern Market. This free health programme serves as a demonstration of care for the community. Kuantan Singingi Police Chief AKBP Hidayat Perdana, through Dokkes Section Head Iptu Arpisman, stated that the activity represents a tangible presence of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) among the people, particularly in the field of health services. β€œThe JALUR programme is an effort by Polres Kuansing to provide easy access to health services for the community, especially in crowded locations like markets. We hope this activity can help the community maintain their health,” said Iptu Arpisman on Friday (27/3/2026). The event, held on Thursday (26/3) around 10:00 WIB, targeted people active in the market. A total of 12 residents utilised the free health services provided by Dokkes Polres Kuansing personnel. During the implementation, officers offered various health services such as blood pressure checks (tension), consultations on health complaints, and the provision of vitamins and medications for free. The community welcomed the activity positively, considering it very helpful, especially for those with limited time to seek health checks at medical facilities. In addition to providing services, the activity also aims to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health from an early stage. With the successful implementation of this Floating Clinic activity, it is hoped that health services to the community will become more equitable and able to drive improvements in the quality of life for residents in Kuantan Singingi Regency.
