JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will summon the husband of Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq, Mukhtaruddin Ashraff Abu, and her son, Muhammad Sabiq Ashraff, in connection with a case of suspected corruption in the procurement of goods and services that has ensnared Fadia.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said the pair will be questioned in relation to flows of money to PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB).

“Obviously, investigators will summon the husband and the son, both in relation to suspected receipt of money flows and the management of PT RNB,” Budi Prasetyo said in a statement on Friday (6 March 2026).

Budi also said Fadia had full control over the management of PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB), including the distribution of money to her family and trusted associates within Pekalongan Regency government.

“And by filling seats as commissioners and directors, they are from the family or from people trusted by the regent,” he added.

Previously, the KPK named Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq as a suspect in a case of alleged procurement corruption involving outsourcing within Pekalongan Regency.

The KPK subsequently ordered detention of Fadia Arafiq for the first 20 days from 4 to 23 March 2026 at the State Detention Centre (Rutan) Gedung Merah Putih branch of the KPK.

In this matter, Fadia is believed to be involved in a series of actions: establishing the family company PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB); taking part in procurement projects within Pekalongan Regency; directing subordinates to win her company; and billions of rupiah flowing back to her circle.

Moreover, most employees of PT RNB were her campaign team members employed in various Pekalongan Regency offices.

In 2025, PT RNB dominated procurement of goods and services in Pekalongan Regency by handling outsourcing services across 17 regional devices (Perangkat Daerah), 3 RSUD hospital networks, and 1 district.

Looking further, from 2023 to 2026, incoming transactions to PT RNB totaling Rp46 billion originated from contracts between PT RNB and regional devices in Pekalongan Regency.

Of that money, only Rp22 billion was used to pay outsourcing staff salaries.

For her actions, Fadia is accused of committin corruption as provided in Article 12 letter i and Article 12 B of Indonesian Law No. 31/1999 on the Eradication of Corruption, as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on Amendments to Law No. 31/1999 on the Eradication of Corruption, together with Article 127(1) of Law No. 1/2023 on the Criminal Code (KUHP).
