KPK summons homeowner whose house was raided in Ponorogo Regent corruption case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned businesswoman Citra Yulia Margareta (CYM) as a witness in the case involving former Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko. Citra was called following a KPK raid on her residence.
“The summons relates to the ongoing investigation into alleged corruption, gratification, and money laundering offences within the Ponorogo Regency government,” stated KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists on Monday, 25 May 2026.
Budi confirmed the questioning would take place at the BPKP East Java Representative Office. In addition to Citra, the KPK has summoned 12 other witnesses:

Previously, on Monday, 18 May, the KPK conducted a raid on Citra’s residence in Pacitan, East Java, seizing electronic evidence. The following day, the commission raided the Ponorogo Health and Education Departments, as well as Sugiri’s home in Bajang Village.
At Sugiri’s residence, the KPK confiscated four vehicles. The raids are part of the investigation into alleged corruption, gratification, and money laundering offences in Ponorogo between 2020 and 2026.
“During the raids, investigators seized four vehicles: three Hardtops and one Alphard,” Budi told journalists on Wednesday, 20 May.
Three clusters of alleged corruption have been identified against Sugiri. The first involves alleged bribes for the appointment of Director at Dr Harjono Regional Hospital. Asep stated that a total of Rp 900 million had been paid to Sugiri.
The second cluster relates to alleged bribes for a 2024 project at the hospital, valued at Rp 14 billion, with suspected bribes totalling Rp 1.4 billion.
The third cluster concerns alleged gratification received by Sugiri between 2023 and 2025, amounting to Rp 300 million.
In total, four suspects have been named in the case:
Sugiri Sancoko, former Ponorogo Regent (SUG)
Agus Pramono, Ponorogo Regional Secretary (AGP)
Yunus Mahatma, Director of Dr Harjono Regional Hospital (YUM)
Sucipto (SC), a private contractor for RSUD Ponorogo projects within Ponorogo Regency.
