KPK Sells Confiscated Goods from Corruptors for Up to Rp10.9 Billion
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has disclosed the results of selling confiscated goods from corruption cases through auctions in March 2026. In total, the state obtained Rp10.9 billion.
“This achievement reflects the effectiveness of asset recovery efforts that are not only focused on enforcement but also ensure that corruption proceeds can be returned for public benefit,” said KPK’s Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution (Labuksi), Mungki Hadipratikno, in a written statement on Saturday, 28 March 2026.
Mungki explained that there were 350 bidders participating in the auction of the corruptors’ goods. The assets sold ranged from vehicles to immovable assets.
Rp719 million was obtained from the sale of motorbikes, cars, bags, bicycles, watches, and mobile phones. Meanwhile, Rp10.2 billion was obtained from the auction of land and buildings.
All the proceeds will be handed over to the state as compensation for the losses from the corruption that has occurred. KPK appreciates the high public interest in participating in the auction of corruptors’ goods.
“The management of seized and confiscated goods does not stop at the enforcement aspect but also ensures that their economic value can be optimally returned to the state,” said Mungki.
KPK will conduct further auctions of corruptors’ assets. There are still many unsold items or new seized assets that have gained legal force and must be marketed.
KPK invites the public to continue following the auctions of confiscated goods. Mungki assures that the quality of the goods is guaranteed because KPK maintains high standards in preserving the items.
“This is inseparable from KPK’s efforts to maintain the quality of the goods, transparency of information, and ease of access through the online auction system,” said Mungki.
