Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is probing the appointment of a Telkom Indonesia (Persero) partner in the digitalisation of Pertamina’s petrol stations (SPBU). KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said the probe involved questioning seven witnesses in the case of alleged corruption in the procurement of Pertamina SPBU digitalisation, on 21 May 2026. ‘The witnesses were questioned in relation to the process of appointing Telkom’s partner in the Pertamina SPBU digitalisation project,’ he told journalists in Jakarta on Friday. He added that the KPK was examining the roles of these seven witnesses in relation to alleged corruption that took place between 2018 and 2023. ‘The statements from these witnesses are also to aid the process of calculating the state’s financial losses,’ he said. Meanwhile, Budi said the witnesses comprise LPR, as Manager Managed Operation Support-1 SDA Telkom; MRM, representing the Directorate of Enterprise Business Solution; and WR, a Telkom retiree. Then AS, the former Head of Outbound Purchasing at PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma); PA, as Coordinator 1 Outbound Purchasing Telkomsigma; HS, as Vice President for BUMN Business Solution Telkomsigma; and RF, as Head of Procurement Telkomsigma. A number of witnesses have been summoned since 20 January 2025 to probe the matter. The KPK has also named three individuals as suspects, although their identities have not all been disclosed publicly. On 28 August 2025, the KPK said the investigation had entered its final stage and was calculating the nation’s financial losses with the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK RI). Subsequently, on 6 October 2025, the KPK disclosed that one of the suspects in the SPBU digitalisation case was also a suspect in a case of alleged corruption in the procurement of electronic data capture (EDC) machines at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk for the 2020–2024 period, namely Elvizar. Elvizar was known to be the Director of PT Pasifik Cipta Solusi at the time of the SPBU digitalisation project, and as the Chief Executive Officer of the same company in the EDC procurement case. Based on information gathered, the other two suspects are a former Telkom director with initials DR, and a former Telkom employee with initials WR.
