        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is\nprobing the appointment of a Telkom Indonesia (Persero) partner in the\ndigitalisation of Pertamina\u2019s petrol stations (SPBU). KPK spokesperson\nBudi Prasetyo said the probe involved questioning seven witnesses in the\ncase of alleged corruption in the procurement of Pertamina SPBU\ndigitalisation, on 21 May 2026. \u2018The witnesses were questioned in\nrelation to the process of appointing Telkom\u2019s partner in the Pertamina\nSPBU digitalisation project,\u2019 he told journalists in Jakarta on Friday.\nHe added that the KPK was examining the roles of these seven witnesses\nin relation to alleged corruption that took place between 2018 and 2023.\n\u2018The statements from these witnesses are also to aid the process of\ncalculating the state\u2019s financial losses,\u2019 he said. Meanwhile, Budi said\nthe witnesses comprise LPR, as Manager Managed Operation Support-1 SDA\nTelkom; MRM, representing the Directorate of Enterprise Business\nSolution; and WR, a Telkom retiree. Then AS, the former Head of Outbound\nPurchasing at PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma); PA, as Coordinator 1\nOutbound Purchasing Telkomsigma; HS, as Vice President for BUMN Business\nSolution Telkomsigma; and RF, as Head of Procurement Telkomsigma. A\nnumber of witnesses have been summoned since 20 January 2025 to probe\nthe matter. The KPK has also named three individuals as suspects,\nalthough their identities have not all been disclosed publicly. On 28\nAugust 2025, the KPK said the investigation had entered its final stage\nand was calculating the nation\u2019s financial losses with the Audit Board\nof Indonesia (BPK RI). Subsequently, on 6 October 2025, the KPK\ndisclosed that one of the suspects in the SPBU digitalisation case was\nalso a suspect in a case of alleged corruption in the procurement of\nelectronic data capture (EDC) machines at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia\n(Persero) Tbk for the 2020\u20132024 period, namely Elvizar. Elvizar was\nknown to be the Director of PT Pasifik Cipta Solusi at the time of the\nSPBU digitalisation project, and as the Chief Executive Officer of the\nsame company in the EDC procurement case. Based on information gathered,\nthe other two suspects are a former Telkom director with initials DR,\nand a former Telkom employee with initials WR.<\/p>",
