The KPK is investigating the provision of vehicle facilities to officials at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in connection with a suspected importation corruption case. This matter was probed during the questioning of entrepreneur Ign Denny Narendra on Monday (25 May 2026). “Today’s questioning focused on a witness from the import business sector (Denny Narendra) regarding the provision of vehicle facilities to officials at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Monday. He stated that the action is closely linked to gratification modus operandi. “It could fall under Article 12B. We’ll see how it develops,” he added. The three witnesses are Khanan, Budi Winanto, and Sutopo. “The questioning took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in his statement on Monday. In addition to the three civil servants, the KPK also summoned three other witnesses from the business sector: Ign Denny Narendra, Danang, and Aditya Rahman Rony Putra. The KPK initially named six suspects in the case: Rizal, Director of Enforcement and Investigation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (P2 DJBC) for 2024-2026; Sisprian Subiaksono, Head of Intelligence Subdirectorate P2 DJBC; and Orlando Hamonangan, Intelligence Section Chief of DJBC, on Thursday (5 February 2026). This was followed by John Field, owner of PT Blueray; Andri, Head of Import Documentation Team at PT Blueray; and Dedy Kurniawan, Operational Manager of PT Blueray. Most recently, the KPK named Budiman Bayu Prasojo, Intelligence Section Chief of Customs Enforcement and Investigation (P2) DJBC, as a suspect on Friday (27 February 2026). “PT Blueray wants the goods under its control entering from abroad to bypass inspections, allowing them to pass through Customs checks easily and smoothly,” said Asep during a press conference on Thursday (5 February 2026) evening.
