Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is deepening its investigation into alleged corruption in the construction of a Lamongan Regency government building in East Java during fiscal years 2017–2019.
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the commission examined a Project Manager from the Abipraya-Jaya Abadi Joint Venture (KSO), with initials ABH, on 26 February 2026 regarding money flows from the construction project.
“The witness was questioned about the flow of funds from the construction project,” Budi told journalists in Jakarta on Friday.
He confirmed that the investigation into the Lamongan Regency building case continues to progress. “There is no cessation of this case’s investigation. This is evidenced by investigators continuing to conduct examinations,” he stated.
According to the KPK, the estimated state financial losses in the case total approximately IDR151 billion.
On 8 July 2025, the KPK announced four suspects in the case.
The anti-corruption agency stated it is calculating the actual state financial losses together with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
On 29 January 2026, the KPK announced that it had received a report on the calculation of state financial losses in the case from the BPKP.
