Khofifah: Bank Jatim Demonstrates Strong Intermediation Function
The financial performance of Bank Jatim throughout 2025 demonstrates achievements worthy of appreciation. Surabaya, East Java (ANTARA) - East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa stated that Bank Jatim has successfully demonstrated its intermediation function effectively while maintaining a balance between expansion and quality. “The financial performance of Bank Jatim throughout 2025 demonstrates achievements worthy of appreciation,” she said during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2025 Fiscal Year of Bank Jatim in Surabaya on Wednesday. Bank Jatim’s ability to carry out its intermediation function, Khofifah said, is reflected in the growth of assets, increased credit disbursements, and strengthening of Third-Party Funds (DPK), which indicate its capability to maintain consistent growth momentum. Bank Jatim’s consolidated balance sheet assets performance (year-on-year/yoy) increased from Rp118.14 trillion to Rp168.85 trillion, or grew by 42.93%; credit disbursements increased from Rp75.35 trillion to Rp110.50 trillion, or grew by 46.65%; and DPK rose from Rp90.01 trillion to Rp127.24 trillion, or grew by 41.36%. From the perspective of annual consolidated Profit and Loss (yoy), Bank Jatim’s performance also shows a positive and consistent trend, with interest income increasing from Rp8.28 trillion to Rp10.16 trillion, or growing by 22.64%. There was also strengthening of net interest income from Rp5.62 trillion to Rp7.08 trillion, growing by 25.9%, up to net profit growth from Rp1.29 trillion to Rp1.61 trillion, or an increase of 24.8%. The profit recorded by Bank Jatim on a Bank Only basis, amounting to Rp1.54 trillion for the 2025 Fiscal Year, is the highest among all Regional Development Banks (BPD) in Indonesia and represents the best achievement since Bank Jatim was established. “This achievement confirms that the growth attained is not merely quantitative but is also supported by revenue quality and increasingly strong business resilience,” said Khofifah. In addition, at the 2025 Fiscal Year Annual AGMS, Bank Jatim successfully distributed dividends of Rp56.62 per share, an increase from the previous year’s dividend of Rp54.71 per share. Overall, the total dividends distributed to shareholders amounted to Rp850,177,501,402.84, or 55% of the 2025 fiscal year net profit. Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo stated that the company continues to strive to become the best, professional regional-owned enterprise (BUMD) capable of serving as one of the engines driving the economy, particularly in the East Java region. This, Winardi said, will be achieved through both daily business operations and the distribution of the company’s profit earnings in the form of dividends. “Thanks to several measures implemented by Management, supported by solid team productivity including through consolidation collaboration with four BPDs in the Bank Business Group (KUB), the company’s consolidated financial performance in 2025 is quite positive,” he said.
