Kemayoran PPK Revitalises Bandar Kemayoran Golf to Optimise State Assets and Develop the Area
The Kemayoran Complex Management Centre (PPK Kemayoran) has officially announced a large-scale revitalisation plan for the state asset Bandar Kemayoran Golf. This step is marked by the operational name change to Kemayoran Indah Golf as part of a strategy to optimise Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) and integrated area development. To facilitate the facility improvement project, operations at the golf course located in Central Jakarta will be temporarily closed to the public until the end of 2027. “As the area manager, PPK Kemayoran has a responsibility to ensure every state asset provides optimal benefits for the community and the state. This revitalisation is part of a sustainable area transformation to realise Kemayoran as a more vibrant, modern, and highly competitive area,” said PPK Kemayoran President Director Teddy Robinson Siahaan via an official statement on Wednesday (10/6/2026). This development project is carried out through a management cooperation scheme between PPK Kemayoran—as a Public Service Agency (BLU) under the Ministry of State Secretariat—and PT Accola Hotel Indonesia, which has been initiated since December 2025. President Director of PT Accola Hotel Indonesia, Haryadi, explained that the temporary operational closure is absolutely necessary to provide space for the construction process, improvement of the course grass quality, addition of modern supporting facilities, and operational arrangements for safe and precise execution. “We believe this transformation will present an international standard golf facility equipped with various modern supporting facilities. Our target is to develop this place into part of a sport tourism ecosystem, lifestyle destination, and leading lifestyle activity centre in Jakarta,” Haryadi explained. Furthermore, Teddy Robinson elaborated that the improvement of Kemayoran Indah Golf does not stand alone but is intertwined with the masterplan for developing the former Kemayoran Airport into an inclusive central business district (CBD). Going forward, this area is directed to adopt modern urban planning trends through a mixed-use development concept. This concept harmoniously integrates residential functions, business centres, sports facilities, green open spaces (RTH), and recreation in one interconnected ecosystem. “Every transformation process certainly requires time and adjustment. However, the changes made today are part of an effort to deliver a better future for Kemayoran, where this area can grow as a new economic growth centre as well as a comfortable urban community living space,” Teddy concluded.
