JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The KedaiKOPI survey institute recorded that 88.8 percent of respondents felt satisfied, with an average satisfaction score of 7.18 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Head of Research at KedaiKOPI, Ashma Nur Afifah, stated that the majority of the public who undertook homecoming travel during Lebaran 2026 reported satisfaction with the homecoming management organised by the government.

The survey was conducted from 23 to 30 March 2026 on 1,101 respondents who met the criteria as Lebaran 2026 homecomers.

“From a scale of 1 to 10, we obtained a score of 7.18. Based on this scale, we can categorise that respondents who undertook homecoming were quite satisfied with the services or homecoming management carried out by the government,” said Ashma virtually on Monday (6/4/2026).

In terms of fleet services, the highest satisfaction was consistently recorded for vehicle comfort, applicable to buses, trains, as well as official travel or shuttle services. However, each mode also recorded its own weaknesses.

For bus users, the aspect receiving the lowest rating was bus terminal comfort.

For train passengers, the biggest complaint came from ticket quota availability, where the figure dropped significantly compared to last year, from 84.8 percent to 76.1 percent, or a decrease of 8.7 percent.

Meanwhile, users of official travel services complained about comfort while waiting at pools or pick-up points.

As for plane users, in-cabin comfort received the highest appreciation, while ticket quota availability was the lowest aspect, although the figure actually rose from 76.2 percent last year to 80 percent this year.

“The difficulties felt in accessing train tickets were experienced more by respondents this year compared to last year. The biggest drop was in train ticket quota availability, which was 84.8 percent last year and now only 76.1 percent,” said Ashma.
