The Police’s Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho today inspected the readiness of the Jakarta–Cikampek (Japek) II South Toll Road, which will be activated for the outbound and return flows of Eid al-Fitr 2026. He noted two points still in the completion stage on the Sadang–Setu functional toll road at KM 16 and KM 13. “At kilometer 13 this is not yet fully connected. However, based on our field checks, this work can be completed in two to three days,” Kakorlantas said during an on-site inspection of the Sadang to Setu toll road on Saturday (7 March 2026). Kakorlantas said that based on the checks, the Sadang to Setu toll road is generally ready to be traversed. “We have traversed from Sadang to Setu. There are four toll exits that are still functional, and we assure that by the return flow this road will be passable,” he said. He added that the presence of the four toll exits is expected to help ease congestion on vehicles from the direction of Bandung towards Cikampek and Jakarta during the Lebaran return flow. To anticipate increased vehicle volumes, Korlantas Polri has also prepared traffic management along the functional toll road, particularly at the Bojongmangu Toll Exit. If volumes rise, part of the traffic will be directed out via the Deltamas Exit so that not all vehicles pile up at the Setu Exit. In addition, traffic management around the Setu Exit will utilise a traffic counting system to monitor traffic conditions on the ground.
