Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The panel of judges at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) of the Central Jakarta District Court has handed down a verdict to the Former Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) and two former officials of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) on Friday (February 27, 2026) in the early hours of the morning.

The Chairman of the panel of judges, Fajar Kusuma Aji, decided that the Former Director of PIS, Yoki Firnandi, the Former Director of Feedstock and Product Optimization of KPI, Sani Dinar Saifuddin, and the VP of Feedstock Management of KPI, Agus Purwono, were proven guilty of committing corruption together, as stipulated in the primary indictment of the public prosecutor (JPU) in the corruption case involving the management of crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina (Persero), its subsidiaries, and the Contractors of the Work Contract Cooperation (KKKS) during the period of 2018-2023.

“Sentencing Yoki with a prison sentence of 9 years,” said Fajar while reading the verdict at the Corruption Court of Jakarta PN Central Jakarta, Friday (February 27, 2026) in the early hours of the morning.

The judge also ordered Yoki to pay a fine of IDR 1 billion. However, if Yoki fails to pay, it will be replaced with a prison sentence of 190 days.

The judge also handed down a sentence of 9 years in prison to the Former Director of Feedstock and Product Optimization of KPI, Sani Dinar Saifuddin.

Meanwhile, the VP of Feedstock Management of KPI, Agus Purwono, was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the judge.

Both former KPI officials were also ordered to pay a fine of IDR 1 billion and a subsidiary sentence of 190 days in prison.

The judge’s verdict is lighter than the prosecution’s demand. Previously, on Friday (February 13, 2026), the Public Prosecutor demanded a prison sentence of 14 years, a fine of IDR 1 billion, and compensation of IDR 5 billion for the three defendants.

The prosecutor’s demand was based on the indictment that the defendants, along with six other defendants in this oil case, had caused a loss of IDR 285 trillion to the state.
