The panel of judges at the Mataram Corruption Court has postponed the verdict hearing for the corruption case involving the sale of pecatu land in Bagik Polak Village, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The hearing, scheduled for the reading of the verdict, was delayed because the judgement is not yet ready.

The defendant, Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria, former Head of the Control and Dispute Resolution Section at the West Lombok National Land Agency (BPN) Office, was due to be sentenced today.

“The judgement is not ready yet. So, we will postpone it for now,” said Mukhlassuddin, the associate judge, on Friday (24/4/2026).

The hearing will resume next week with the same agenda: the reading of the verdict. “We will postpone it until Wednesday (29/4/2026),” he added.

In the previous hearing, the public prosecutor requested that the judges sentence defendant Baiq Mahyuniati Fitria to one year and six months in prison, along with a fine of Rp 50 million subsidiary three months’ imprisonment.

Before this postponement, the judges first held a verdict reading hearing for defendant Amir Amraen Putra.

In the judgement, the Head of Bagik Polak Village was sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of Rp 50 million subsidiary three months’ imprisonment, as well as repaying Rp 140 million subsidiary six months’ imprisonment.

The judges stated that Amir was proven guilty of violating Article 3 of Law No. 20 of 2001 on Amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) first of the Criminal Code.

In the previous hearing, the prosecutor demanded two years in prison for defendant Amir and a fine of Rp 50 million subsidiary three months’ imprisonment.

In this case, three individuals are defendants. The other defendant is Majli Azhar, whose indictment and verdict have not yet been read. His hearing is still in the witness examination process.

It is known that the sale of the 3,757 square metre plot of land caused a state financial loss of Rp 958 million.
