JTT halts non-pothole repair work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on 11 March
Jakarta — PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) will halt road repair and maintenance work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road outside pothole repair on 11 March 2026 in order to support this year’s mudik Lebaran exodus.
‘Indeed, for repairs and maintenance outside potholes, these are halted on 11 March. With the mudik exodus approaching, we are ensuring comfort for road users,’ Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) Ria Marlinda Paallo told ANTARA at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, Cikampek, West Java, on Friday.
The issue of pothole disruptions on the tolled road has become a focus for JTT, and to address this, JTT has prepared around 10 teams ready to operate during the maintenance window from 10pm to 5am.
‘For the Cikampek corridor, we have prepared approximately 10 teams for the 10pm–5am window. Each team can handle up to about 10 pothole sites, meaning over 100 sites to anticipate. However, so far everything is normal, and we can confirm that the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road’s potholes are under control,’ Paallo said.
She added that the response teams have been on standby and are ready to handle pothole disruptions on the toll road that can be addressed immediately.
‘We are continuing this vigilance by ensuring that all officers who will be on 24-hour duty for pothole patching are prepared. Moreover, across the Trans-Jawa Toll roads, whether directly managed by JTT or not, we have prepared nearly 300 personnel up to Malang to ensure that patching or any pothole closures can be carried out around the clock,’ she said.
For information, the government is accelerating road infrastructure repairs along the Pantura corridor up to the Trans-Jawa Toll Road as the main route for the mudik movement.
The Government Public Communications Agency (Bakom) RI describes this effort as a response to the high mobility of vehicles, particularly on the Java corridor, which is the main route for the movement of the public.
Repairs are focused on ensuring road conditions are ready to face the surge in traffic at the peak of the mudik period.
Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo said that pothole handling is the top priority and targeted to be completed before the peak of the mudik period.
