During the Eid al-Adha holiday period, traffic conditions on Trans-Java toll roads have remained normal and smooth as of Wednesday. PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has confirmed operational readiness for the Trans-Java toll road network during the Eid al-Adha 1447 H/2026 holiday period. ‘During the Eid al-Adha holiday period, traffic on Trans-Java toll roads has remained normal and smooth as of Wednesday,’ said Ria Marlinda Paallo, Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, in a statement from Karawang, West Java, on Wednesday. She stated that to ensure smooth transactions, JTT operates 18 toll gates for the Trans-Java direction and 12 for Jakarta at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This is done situationally, adjusting to on-ground traffic conditions. Additionally, JTT has ensured operational staff readiness, traffic service fleets, and real-time road monitoring via CCTV and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS). She added that despite smooth traffic on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road during the Eid al-Adha long holiday, JTT remains prepared in terms of transactions, traffic management, and on-ground services to ensure safe and comfortable travel for road users. ‘We urge road users to remain cautious during travel, ensure their vehicles are in optimal condition, and check electronic wallet balances before entering toll roads,’ she said. Meanwhile, during this year’s Eid al-Adha long holiday, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division recorded increased traffic volumes on several toll roads in Jabodetabek and West Java. The traffic rise coincides with high public mobility as people use the long holiday to travel to tourist spots or local homecoming destinations. Vehicle volumes departing Jabodetabek towards Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Merak, and Bogor’s Puncak area via major toll gates totalled 208,453, a 15.30 percent increase from the normal volume of 180,316 vehicles. Traffic heading towards Bandung, Rancaekek, Garut, and surrounding areas via West Java toll roads also rose, with 85,701 vehicles recorded—a 32.95 percent increase from the normal volume of 64,459 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Bandung and surrounding areas for Jakarta totalled 65,135, a 17.61 percent rise compared to the normal volume of 55,396 vehicles.
