PT Jasa Marga Tbk is providing toll tariff discounts for Eid holiday travel in 2026. A 30 per cent discount on toll tariffs will apply on 15–16 March 2026.

“We are currently offering a 30 per cent discount, and as expected, this is provided as part of traffic management and vehicle distribution arrangements,” said Jasa Marga Chief Executive Rivan A Purwantono during a press conference at JTMC Jasa Marga in Bekasi on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

He stated that the discount applies to the Trans Java toll, West Java routes, and Trans Sumatera highways. He noted that the discount also applies during the return journey.

“The discount is planned for the outbound journey on 15 and 16 March. These routes are the Trans Java, which includes Cikampek, MBZ, Palimanan, Kanci, and Batang–Semarang. Then Semarang–MBZ, all West Java routes including Cipularang and Padaleunyi. Then Trans Sumatera at Belmera and all routes in North Sumatera,” he explained.

The toll tariff discount during the Eid return journey will be provided on 26–27 March. The discount value remains the same at 30 per cent.

“So all nine routes and the return journey on 26–27 March will receive the same 30 per cent toll tariff discount,” he said.

Jasa Marga predicts the peak outbound travel period on tolls will occur on 18 March 2026. Jasa Marga estimates that 3.5 million vehicles will use the tolls during the outbound journey.

“The estimate of 3.5 million vehicles indicates that the peak outbound travel will occur on 18 March,” he said.

Rivan explained that from the 3.5 million vehicles, traffic flows in three directions. The breakdown is 28 per cent heading towards Merak, 50 per cent heading east (Trans Java and Cikampek Utama), and 20 per cent towards Bogor.

“Specifically for the 50 per cent heading east, this breaks down further into 57 per cent towards Trans Java and 42 per cent towards Cileunyi/Cipularang. Congestion typically occurs at kilometre 66 due to the convergence of these very high vehicle volumes,” he said.

Meanwhile, the peak return journey is predicted to occur on 24 March 2026. Most travellers are expected to head back to Jakarta on that date.

“The peak return journey is predicted to occur on 24 March (Day +3). Some travellers may finish their family visits quickly to return to Jakarta, whilst others may stay until the end of the holiday period,” he concluded.
